A peaceful mountain settlement, Regificus was founded by a combination of miners and farmers to create a safe home for themselves in a sought-after, fertile land. At the crossing of a small stream and a mighty arterial river, an expansive port and mighty fortress were erected to bolster the already flourishing town. However; this brisk proliferation did not go unnoticed; the nearby Kingdom of Synestra grew jealous of the newfound city's success and launched a fierce attack on the city.
